UCF Lake Nona Medical Center, a partnership hospital between HCA Healthcare’s North Florida Division and UCF Academic Health,UCF, will feature a new 100-bed medical and surgical adult teaching hospital. The medical center was built adjacent to the UCF College of Medicine in Lake Nona Medical City, transforming Central Florida’s healthcare community on a journey toward an academic medical approach.
Located in Orlando’s Medical City at Lake Nona, the $175-million teaching hospital will provide healing for patients throughout Central Florida and beyond, educate the healthcare providers of the future and support the work of brilliant medical researchers that will lead to lifesaving care.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs a broad range of functions normally relegated to a registered pharmacist, under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Review drug therapy for appropriateness.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree preferred.
- Florida Pharmacy Intern License required.

Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage.
