UF Veterinary Hospitals pharmacy is currently hiring two pharmacy interns. UF Veterinary Hospitals is the state’s only veterinary teaching hospital. The UFVH pharmacy serves the small animal and large animal hospitals, with patient populations including companion animals, hoofstock, and exotics. Interns will gain experience in retail and hospital dispensing and operations, and in nonsterile and sterile compounding. They are seeking out two first year pharmacy students with both an enthusiasm for veterinary pharmacy and strong communication skills. During the academic term, 20 hours or less per week may be worked, with extended hours over summers, as available. Summer availability is preferred, excluding assigned rotation blocks.
