It is my pleasure to announce and recruit for the PGY-1 pharmacy practice residents at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital (NFH) in Gainesville, Florida. To continue to grow the excellence in clinical and collaborative practice, the Department of Pharmacy is searching for two highly motivated, professional pharmacy candidates to fill the pharmacy resident positions for a start date of July 2023.
NFH is a 510-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center in north central Florida. NFH offers a wide scope of services including comprehensive cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, neurosciences, surgery, and women’s health. The Pharmacy Practice Residency at NFH is designed to provide the resident with broad experiences in the inpatient and outpatient settings to develop the clinical and interpersonal skills necessary to excel independently in practice. Rotation Experiences include: Adult Medicine, Administration, Ambulatory Care, Cardiology, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Emergency Medicine Consulting (Free Standing Emergency Departments), Geriatrics, Infectious Diseases, Medication Safety, Neonatal Intensive Care, and completing a Research Project.
