The healthcare system operates nine facilities including the main medical center headquartered in Bay Pines and 8 outpatient clinics in Cape Coral, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Sebring, Bradenton, Palm Harbor, Naples, and Port Charlotte. Our healthcare system serves the healthcare needs of America’s Veterans in West Central and Southwest Coastal Florida by providing primary care, specialized care, and related medical and social support sources. Together, the Bay Pines VAHCS provides care to over 110,000 Veterans every year and is one of the top 10 busiest VA healthcare systems in the country in regard to patients treated or served.
Bay Pines VAHCS is offering two (2) PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Programs within Bay Pines VA Healthcare System. They have a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center near St. Petersburg, Florida that they recruit five (5) residents for each year as well as a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program at the Lee County Healthcare Center near Cape Coral, Florida that they recruit one (1) resident for each year.
