We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will ensure safe, accurate, and effective medication therapy for our patients. You will manage prescriptions, counsel patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense Medications: Accurately review, prepare, and dispense prescription orders according to physician instructions.
Check for correct dosage, labeling, and potential drug interactions.
Patient Consultation: Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, storage, and possible food or drug interactions.
Staff Supervision: Direct and oversee the daily workflow of pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, handle ordering, and remove damaged or expired drugs to maintain safety standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to local, state, and federal laws, including HIPAA, FDA, and DEA regulations.
