We are very happy to announce that we are offering again the 2023 Pharmacy Clinical Informatics Summer Internship Program Division of Clinical Informatics at BIDMC, a Harvard-affiliated teaching hospital. Students need to apply by March 3, 2023, at https://projects.iq.harvard.edu/dci/2023-pharmacy-clinical-informatics-summer-internship-program It is open to any currently enrolled as a full-time Doctor of Pharmacy degree student in an ACPE-accredited school or college with an anticipated graduation of 2023 or 2024.
The goal of the Pharmacy Clinical Informatics Summer Internship Program is to develop future pharmacy leaders in informatics through exposure to population health and clinical informatics principles through concepts such as data model design, clinical workflows, and interoperability. The training offered will be tailored to the students’ backgrounds and future career objectives. The Interns can be virtually located anywhere in the United States.
Students need to be in an ACPE-accredited school or college with an anticipated graduation of 2023 or 2024. This can be combined with one or more Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) at their university (not required, just an option).
